NRM Parliamentary Caucus Endorses Party Roadmap and Wealth Creation Strategy
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Parliamentary Caucus held a key meeting on Friday at the Office of the President, where they adopted resolutions aimed at strengthening the party’s political strategy and enhancing economic mobilization efforts.
Speaking to the press after the session, Government Chief Whip Hon. Denis Hamson Obua, along with NRM Parliamentary Caucus Chairperson and NRM Electoral Chairperson Dr. Tanga Odoi, outlined the key resolutions from the meeting.

“We have discussed, reviewed, and adopted the NRM Secretariat’s Report on the National Resistance Movement Voters’ Register and the Political Roadmap for 2024-2027,” Hon. Obua stated.
He emphasized that this is a crucial step in preparing the party for the upcoming electoral activities while ensuring it remains in tune with the aspirations of the electorate.
The meeting, which was attended by Her Excellency Vice President Hon. Jessica Alupo, also focused on economic empowerment. This included a presentation on wealth creation and mobilization, reflecting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s commitment to transforming livelihoods. The presentation outlined strategies to help MPs mobilize their constituencies toward economic self-sustainability.
“As the people’s representatives, it is our responsibility to lead our communities in wealth creation initiatives,” Obua said, stressing that this approach would bridge the gap between policy and grassroots economic transformation.
Dr. Tanga Odoi also commended MPs for their commitment to reinforcing the party’s structures and reiterated the Secretariat’s readiness to implement the roadmap, which includes ensuring a credible and updated NRM Voters’ Register in preparation for the upcoming election cycle.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous agreement among Caucus members to actively support the implementation of the roadmap and engage in extensive grassroots mobilization efforts.
