Kyagulanyi to Government to UN Rights Counil

Kyadondo East member of parliament who also doubles as the national coordinator for Uganda’s new political change wave, People Power, Our Power together with his international lawyer are considering dragging the Ugandan govt to the un human rights c=and security councils.

Bobi wine donned in a coffee brown suit, a white shirt and red cap strongly re-echoed that he was on several occasions tortured by the security operatives during his arrest, during the time he spend in the military cells and the re-arrest at the airport.

Kyagulanyi also says, many Ugandans are subjected to such kind of torture and have no one to report to.

In his words, Kyagulanyi says,” he was asked by his family, doctors and lawyers to come out and address the press on what transpired in Arua up to now.”

Kyagulanyi remains firms and asks Ugandans to stay firm and fight the oppression that is growing in the country if Uganda is to attain the desired freedom. However, his international lawyer, Robert Amsterdam tasks the US govt to stop funding any military activity in Uganda since it’s the US tax payers money that is used to buy weapons that torture and brutalize Ugandans.

In his words, Amsterdam says they are to petition the US govt over the same matter and also drag the Ugandan govt to the United nation seeking redress in the continued oppression by the current regime which in human acts are against the UN human rights treaties.

Hon. Kyagulanyi is currently receiving specialized treatment in the US where he was flown on recommendation of his doctors in Uganda following the torture he went through during the Arua arrest mid last month among other 35 fellow suspects.

he asked ugandans to desist from using unconstitutional means to change power.

He also asked the young generation to embrase the knowledge saught from them the elders on how to run a nation like uganda to avoid plunging it in tatus.

he thanked the citizens for maintaing peace and order even when the situation was trying to get out of hand.

The security Minister Gen Elly Tumwine assured the nation that everything is in control and govt is ready to protect its citizens ,he asked ugandans to desist from using unconstitutional means to change power.

He also asked the young generation to embrace the knowledge saught from them the elders on how to run a nation like Uganda to avoid plunging it in tatus.

He assured the nation that everything is in control and govt is read to protect its citizens
