A team from Uganda cancer institute (UCI ) led by the Executive Director Dr Jackson Orem is in Cambridge University (UK) to attend a Cancer and Global Health event ,set to kick off on Thursday 23rd May 2019.
The event which aims to bring together researchers, clinicians and wider society to get solution’s to some of the challenges relating to cancer.
The Global health event will be hosted by Cambridge Global Health Partners, alongside the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre & Cambridge Africa.
Key Speakers will include the Director of Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) Dr Jackson Orem and Professor Richard Gilbertson , the Director Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre.
Dr Orem was accompanied by Dr Joyce Balagade ,Senior pediatric oncologist ,Dr Nixon Nyonizima among others from (UCI)
