A thousand of Ugandan youth will on the 20th of this month pour on the streets of Kampala to raise their voices on the needed action by govt and stakeholders towards addressing impacts of climate change and its here where they will petition parliament for action.

The CEO Youth Go Green Uganda, Edwin Muhumuza says, the dissatisfaction match will not only raise awareness but also remind govt about the need to clean and save the environment, implement and enforce existing climate change instruments, create a network of young people with a focus on fighting environmental degradation, climate change and its adverse effects among others.

Meanwhile, the guild representative councilor of the school of forestry, environmental and geographical science at Makerere, Sarah
Namiro and Kezha Masiko from Rainbow international school
say, they will use this match to ask govt to have climate change studies introduced for post graduate students and not only master students as well calling for full respect to observe environmental conservation.

The climate change match will not only be held in Uganda but all UN member countries are expected to hold peaceful matches to call for action from their respective govts and the UN as well.
