Parliament Wants Brian White Apprehended
Parliament wants the ministry for internal affairs to explain the action taken against city socialite Brian Kirumira accused of sexually abusing girls he had recruited to work in his organizations, the Brian white foundation.
This follows a debate on a report from the committee on human rights which concluded that Brian Kirumira commonly known as Brian white had sexually abused several victims and that he was being protected by security as he continued to boast that he was working for the statehouse.
MPs debating the matter and wondered how the statehouse has remained silent about the claims even after learning that he was under investigation for such acts.
Minister David Bahati undertook to ensure that the minister of internal affairs explains to the house in light of the concerns raised.
“We condemn any abuse of human anywhere in the country, the minister of internal affairs will be coming to make clarification on this thing and also to follow up action on what has happned”, Minister Bahati noted.
Minister Bright Rwamirama and Speaker Rebecca Kadaga joined the MPs in expressing concern.
