Kakumiro — President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has praised the Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, for her unwavering patriotism and commitment to national development.
The President made the remarks while presiding over a thanksgiving ceremony held in honor of Prime Minister Nabbanja, who also serves as the Woman Member of Parliament for Kakumiro District. The event took place at Mpasaana Playground in Kakumiro and was preceded by a holy mass led by the Archbishop of Kampala, Most Rev. Paul Ssemogerere.
As part of the day’s activities, the Prime Minister received President Museveni at Kakumiro Model Farm, a personal initiative she established to promote modern agricultural practices among local farmers. The President also commissioned the Kakumiro Classic Hotel, another of Nabbanja’s development projects aimed at boosting tourism and hospitality in the region.
Later, President Museveni addressed a mammoth rally at Mpasaana Playground, where he reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring national security.
In her remarks, Prime Minister Nabbanja expressed gratitude to the President for entrusting her with leadership responsibilities. She pledged continued loyalty to both him and the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
President Museveni assured residents of Kakumiro and Ugandans at large that the nation’s peace and stability remain a top priority under his leadership.
