Hundreds Screened,Treated For Cancer at Kololo -URA Tax Payers Weeks.

HUNDREDS SCREENED /TREATED FOR CANCER AT KOLOLO -URA TAX PAYERS WEEK.

Hundred of people have flocked the kololo independence grounds to take advantage of free screening and treatment of different types of cancers.

One hundred and fourty four out of two hundred people registered have been screened.

the cases being screened include cervical,breast and prostate cancer,how ever huge numbers being registered are those of women..

The week long activities that that kicked off yesterday at kololo independence grounds are running under the theme “Stronger Together”, are aimed at giving a platform to government agencies and ministries to showcase what they have been doing with the taxes payers money.

Christine Namulindwa the spokes person of the Uganda cancer institute says they are targeting men between the age of 40 to 45 years and above who are most victims,Namulindwa says all suspected cases are being isolated and given treatment for free.
