Global Community and Leadership Impact activist, Apostle Dr. Larita Rice-Barnes is scheduled to visit Uganda next month July 2023.
Dr. Larita is the Chief Executive Officer – CEO and founder of Global Impact Leadership Alliance- GILA, the founder of Global Impact Leadership Alliance (GILA), an organization established to assist with meeting the needs of developing nations to promote racial and economic dignity.
From St. Louis City in Missouri, United States of America – USA, Dr. Larita will be traveling with a delegation to pay a courtesy call to the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa would later meet some legislators from different political parties at Parliament.
She will also be visiting different places in the country, including some of the constituencies of Members of Parliament who have been attending the famed Annual Reset America – Reset Africa (RARAC), an annual conference organized by the Global Impact Leadership Alliance.
The annual conference that takes place every year in the USA brings together Heads of State, key policymakers, civic leaders, Mayors, Senators, House Representatives, Business and Organization owners, and Everyday Citizens for cross cross-cultural, and educational knowledge exchange.
The gathering continues to be a historical moment for those who attend it, because of the value of different topics discussed, including business empowerment, leadership, and health.
In November 2022, the Honorable Board of Aldermen, a legislative body for the City of St. Louis paid a memorial tribute to former Speaker of Parliament, Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah and he was also recognized by Global Impact Leadership Alliance with a posthumous Legacy Torch Award 2022.
The Legacy Torch Award is an award honoring personalities who have changed the corporate, social, and political landscape through their commitment to making a difference in the lives of the communities they serve.
The Global Impact Leadership Alliance identified Oulanyah as a skilled leader passionate about leading, training, and developing other leaders. The posthumous Award was received by Andrew Ojok Oulanyah, the late Speaker’s son.
During her visit to Uganda, Dr. Larita, who will be accompanied by her husband, Mr. Juard M. Barnes is expected to tour different activities and projects her organization supports, including churches.
The delegation will officially install Mr. Kenneth Kityo Kabugo, as its Pastor for the Kampala -Uganda Branch of Empowerment of Grace Church in Luzira, headquartered in the USA.
Mr. Kityo has been serving the Empowerment of Grace church in Uganda since 2017.
Notably, Dr. Larita is a mother, an author, an entrepreneur, a life coach, a pastor, a change agent, a transformational leader, and an advisor to members of parliament in several countries among others.
