The Speaker of Parliament and NRM Second National Vice Chairperson (Female), Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, has urged residents of Buyende District to embrace government wealth creation programs as the Busoga Sub-region prepares to welcome President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the NRM Presidential Flag Bearer.
Speaking at a rall in Buyende District , Among encouraged locals to take advantage of initiatives championed by the NRM government to improve household incomes and help Uganda achieve its goal of attaining upper middle-income status.
She commended President Museveni for his visionary leadership, saying it has enabled the country to move from instability to lasting peace and economic progress. Among further rallied the people of Busoga to support the President’s candidature and consolidate the gains realized under the NRM’s leadership.
