New Medical Devise to Reduce Death of Newborn Babies

Medical workers have been urged to adopt new ways of examining newborn babies across the country.
This follows the introduction of a new kit that detects breathing problems within new born babies which has been responsible for 16 percent of child morality.
The Augmented infant Resuscitator is a low cost devise that helps birth attendants with skills and immediate solution while delivering mothers.
Dr Santa Engol the manager maternal new birth Health program at Save the Children Uganda says the devise is expected to reduce the risk of death by 16 percent of every 30 second delay in breathing.
