Speaker Anita Among led a delegation of visiting Speakers and deputies from the East African Community countries this morning to pay a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, at the Special Forces Command Headquarters in Entebbe.
The Speakers commended Uganda for its pivotal role in fostering regional integration and unity.
Speaker Among acknowledged the Chief of Defence Forces for the vital contributions of security agencies in ensuring the safety of the nations and for their missions that have significantly contributed to regional stability.
Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba characterised the visit as historic, expressing gratitude to the visitors for their presence at the armed forces headquarters.
