By DR. GEORGE DIDI BHOKA, MP OBONGI CONSTITUENCY.
Young people between 15-30 years are physically, mentally and socially capable of creating the world they dream about.
They have both the right and duty to create a peaceful, healthy, skilled, productive and prosperous society through the decisions, choices and actions they take.
The contemporary young generation is at a cross road of ideological, strategic and business dilemmas, influenced by different political, social, economic and technological trends, in the global village.
Youth are grappling with negative mindsets, diseases, teenage pregnancies, child marriages, drug abuse, inadequate employable skills, unemployment, poverty, massive rural -urban /off shore migration, digital and financial illiteracy, inter alia.
Hence, the imperative to provide clarity of ideological, policy, strategic and business direction for them to be authors of their destiny.
We need to unleash the capacities and abilities of the younger generation to be agents of social and economic transformation in their families, communities, districts, regions, national and international levels.
With best wishes in your personal, professional and business pursuits in all walks of life.
