Lecturers in public universities are frustrated with the failure by university administrations to facilitate them with data and other important tools to easily facilitate online learning.
Brian Muyomba a lecturer at MUBS, Robert Ojambo from Kyambogo University and other lecturers from Mbarara university reveal that they are greatly challenged with conducting online lessons to students when they don’t have data bundles to help link the classes.
They also state that learners are frustrated too since most of them don’t have data, laptops and mobile phones to use in attending online lessons.
According to Brian student’s frustration can be witnessed with the very low numbers of student with a class of over 300 students only 50 consistently attend classes.
