Ministry of Health clarifies on Alleged Novel Coronavirus Suspect

The Ministry of Health has dismissed reports of a coronavirus suspect in Masindi district.
Social media has been awash with rumors of an alleged 2019- novel Coronavirus(COVID19) suspect in Buliisa Camp, Masindi District.
However according to the ministry of health senior public relations officer Emmanuel Ainebyoona, the ministry dispatched it’s surveillance teams to verify the rumor and established that all claims were false.
“We appreciate the general public for being vigilant in reporting all alarms and appeal to you to always verify information from the Ministry of health to avoid rumors and misinformation” Ainebyona noted in a statement.
