Uganda has moved three positions from the list of most corrupt nations in the world according to the global index released by transparency international Uganda in Kampala today. The corruption perception index report covering 180 countries all over the world shows that shows Uganda has moved from position 151 last year to 149 but scoring the same percentage of 26. According to the executive director of transparency international Uganda Peter Wandera attributes the slight improvement in the ranks for Uganda to the number of measures by government such as aligning corrupt officials including ministers before courts of law for prosecution. |
